Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be the best athlete in sport. Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.) American gymnast that was regarded as one the sport's greatest athletes. Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. The Biles family grew up in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone first became interested in the sport of gymnastics when she was only six years old. Coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went on an excursion. Biles was awarded a gold medal in floor exercise and a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of competition in 2011. Two years later, she was a dominant competitor in the sport. Biles made headlines for her constant performance her enthusiasm and level of challenge she made in each event--vault, uneven bars the balance beam, and the ground exercises.
