Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actor as well as a musician, playback singer and actress for Tamil films and Malayalam film. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah has been raised in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian home. Andrea's dad was an Madras High Court lawyer. There is also a younger sister, who works as a research assistant in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah is from Chennai. She attended National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight year old classical pianist, who was extremely geeky. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. This group formed the foundation for her music and singing career. She was a performer at her college in various shows hosted by The Madras Players or EVAM. She was President of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her professional career in theatre with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala.
