The family was raised in Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and studied clarinet as well as piano and cello at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's enthusiasm for performing during her high school years was what led her to the Boston Conservatory, where she was awarded the scholarship. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp after she graduated. Sharp turned her attention to the stage. She appeared in her first performance in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp was also in Abyssinia as well as Aida. The other performances include: Thunder Knockin', Jitney and The Producers. Sharp's talents are not restricted to screen or stage. Sharp also wrote and co-written several projects. She sings as often as she can, and is currently working on a full-length album in production. Sharp enjoys exercise. She is active by doing boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long roadtrips. Sharp lives with her family in Los Angeles with family.
